Robert M. Imada, MSN, PMHNP.
Robert Imada is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has been in clinical practice since 2014 and works primarily with adult patients, from ages 18 to 65. He completed his academic training at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing (BSN) and advanced graduate nursing degree in psychiatry at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He has worked in a variety of clinical settings with diverse patient populations, including the Greater Los Angeles Department of Veterans Affairs and urban community mental health. He currently practices with Palo Alto Medical Foundation/Sutter Health.
His clinical interests include integrative psychiatry, including use of nutrition and supportive supplementation alongside medication treatment and therapy to enhance healing and recovery. He regularly follows up-to-date evidence based integrative psychiatry practices (Integrative Medicine for Mental Health: www.immh.org) to enhance patient care.
Robert is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and a member of the American Psychiatric Nurse’s Association (APNA).
