Marjan Bazzazi, PMHNP-BC
Marjan is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and licensed by the state of California. She graduated with a PMHNP degree from University of California, San Francisco and also holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing.
Marjan specializes in treating adults with a wide range of mental health disorders. Her extensive clinical experience includes various inpatient and outpatient facilities. She completed her one-year PMHNP residency in Santa Clara Main Jail, CA. Additionally, she held RN positions at Bridge home health and hospice care, San Jose, CA for two years and at St. Marks hospital Acute Care Unit, Salt Lake City, UT for two years.
Marjan immigrated to the U.S as an adult and is fluent in Farsi. While raised in a family with decades of enriched history in medical practice, the insatiable desire to extend care for others has been the essence of her values. She empowers her immigrant patients and facilitates culturally sensitive health care services to this population. Her philosophy of patient-centered care along with holistic approaches, facilitate transcendence of physical, mental, and emotional challenges and benefit various patient population.
Marjan is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and American Nurses Association.
